What’s up, everyone! Bengaluru just proved it’s the ultimate hub for geeks and otaku! The 13th Bengaluru Comic Con wrapped up on December 20-21, 2025, at the KTPO Trade Centre, and the energy was over 9000!
The weekend was an absolute spectacle, drawing in a massive crowd of over 50,000 attendees who came together to celebrate their shared love for comics, anime, gaming, and pop culture. The highlight of the convention was undoubtedly the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2025 qualifier, where the level of craftsmanship was insane. The top honor went to the cosplayer dressed as Rafa the Exo Soldier, who will now move on to represent Bengaluru in the national finals. The daily cosplay contests were just as intense, with participants competing for a share of the ₹300,000 prize pool, showcasing everything from intricate armor builds to beloved anime characters.
Beyond the costumes, the event was star-studded with international and local talent. Fans had the rare chance to meet Dan Salvato, the mastermind behind Doki Doki Literature Club!, and celebrated artist Josh Blaylock. The Indian creative scene was well-represented too, with popular artists like Abhijeet Kini, Sailesh Gopalan of Brown Paperbag fame, and Sumit Kumar sharing their latest works. The convention floor was buzzing with activity, especially in “The Arena,” where gamers battled it out in intense Counter-Strike 2 and EA FC 24 tournaments organized by The Esports Club. Major brands like Maruti Suzuki, Yamaha, and Crunchyroll also set up huge interactive experience zones, adding to the immersive atmosphere. The festivities concluded with high-energy musical performances from Geek Fruit, Afro Sura, and the Proximity Crew, ensuring the event ended on a perfect note.
