Cosplay fans, anime lovers, and every person who has ever wanted to be their favorite fictional character—pay attention! Riding Fest by JN Suzuki is returning to the Polo Ground Parking Lot, Shillong on 1st February 2025 with its much-anticipated Cosplay Competition. If you thought last year’s “Road to Matsuri” cosplay battle on wheels was epic, get ready because this year it’s bigger, better, and potentially more bonkers (in the best possible way).
Cosplay Vibes Only
Hosted by none other than the fabulous Shillong Cosplay Community, the competition promises to be one of the shiniest things in the festival. Whether you have a jaw-dropping, screen-accurate Gundam suit or a cardboard version you’re about to duct-tape (we respect the hustle), this is your time to shine.
Other than showing off your costuming skills, you will meet other weebs, pose, and possibly even win some prizes (details on loot and judges to be decided later). No entry fees, no gatekeepers—pure cosplay chaos, pure cosplay creativity.
What’s more?
While the cosplay competition is undoubtedly the star of the show (yes, we’re biased), the Riding Fest has a ton of other cool stuff going on like Live Bands, Bike Stunts, Reels Competition, Face Painting, Costume Tryouts, Anime Merch Sale.
How to Join the Cosplay Madness

Why You Shouldn’t Miss This
Last year’s Road to Matsuri cosplay competition was a massive success. It had everything—stunning costumes, incredible talent, and an energy that could rival a shonen battle scene. This year’s Riding Fest promises to take things to the next level, and trust us, you don’t want to be the one hearing about it later and regretting not showing up.
So, whether you’re a seasoned cosplayer, an anime enthusiast, or just someone looking for an unforgettable time, the Riding Fest is the place to be. Dust off your hot glue gun, grab your cardboards, and get ready to slay. We’ll see you on 1st February—cosplay glory (and maybe some prizes) awaits!
